Kitchen Sink

Kitchen Sink. This is what's called a Controlled Scrap Quilt. All that really means is that I picked coordinating fabrics. This was a day long workshop with my Quilt Guild. Everyone picked such different fabrics, so it was neat to see how they all turned out so differently. These squares can be laid out in any number of ways, but I liked the log cabin effect this layout had, so that's what I went with. The colors I used are purple and poison green, and I love how they look together. I used several civil war era reproduction prints. Machine pieced, long arm quilted. Made in 2002.
