At the start of the new year, I noticed my mobile phone wasn't working very well, but it worked well enough. The odd symptoms persisted and worsened, and it was finally time to get a new one. I was quite amused when I was at the cell phone place. Turns out my 'old' (all of five years) phone was a dinosaur, a Commodore 64 trying to run Windows XP or something along those lines. It had become obsolete. The person helping me couldn't believe the condition of my phone. I guess I take really good care of my phone. Well, after that, I couldn't just carry my new phone around-- it needed its own case, so that when I go back for a new phone (in five years!) this one will be as good as new. I used very precise measurements (laid the phone on the fabric and added about an inch for width, then did some scientific folding to estimate how much length was needed). I cut a piece of fusible fleece that was half an inch smaller, then I made a sandwich of it all and sewed it up. I added some red velcro for the closure, and voila!
