Back in March I got a new title-- Great Aunt! My
niece L. and her husband J. are the new parents of a lovely baby girl. I thought my collection of Classic Pooh prints would be just right for the newest member of the family. I recently finished the quilt (with some help from my mom on the binding-- thanks Mom!). My husband and I spent the holiday weekend with his parents, and I took the quilt along with us, figuring Great Grandma would probably see the new family sooner than I would. Turns out they were home visiting her mom, and I got to give her the gift myself! My
niece loved the quilt, and was especially taken with the personalized label. My great niece slept through the whole thing-- she'll have to let me know what she thinks later, when she can talk!
